I know you COULD run clones of successful sites if you wanted to, but what would make people come to your site over myspace? I guess the same could be said about this forum, but I think forums are a bit different.

But for some reason, I started a forum. Actually there is a reason for this, and that is because hosting for forums is REALLY cheap. And by cheap, I mean next to free +Its allot more work. Hosting a REAL socail network or youtube site could be costly. But who knows, maybe I will start a site like that someday when I feel like working that hard.

yeah arent you paying like 6 dollars a month hosting? lol but yeah, BBS's are alot of work, so,...thats why they have mods,to break up the chunks of work

Im glad you went for a BBS, its the original, and still the best format for an internet site, its an old school system that refuses to die [ refer to the Usenet Oracle ]

The oracle is still up by the way, and, is as cool as it was in the 80's
